As an annual Season Ticket holder, I'm told by GNER that I'm not entitled to any compo as I get a discount at renewal to compensate me for the poor service I've received over the last 12 months. However my argument is that I can exprience delays and get nothing if they hit their targets.
I mention this because I was delayed by 1 hour 50 minutes last Friday evening. I jumped on the 18.30 just before the deadline and feeling dead pleased with myself for making it in time. The train left at sometime after 20.15 and I arrived home at 21.30 thoroughly pissed off. And GNER think it's OK to offer me nothing by way of appology.
