I haven't blogged this week for 2 reasons. Firstly, I haven't had time as I'm still trying to catch up from last weeks farce and secondly, my pc at home has been missbehaving.

Not being a techy person at all I called the suppliers (MESH COMPUTERS) help line to get the PC fixed. I explained that I couldn't get any sound out of it unless I uninstalled and reinstalled the software for the sound card. The guy on the phone talked me through a number of options but after an hour he eventually told me to get this blue disc and install it, which I did. Unbeknown to me this action ended with me wiping everything, music, Internet access, E-mails, Family photo's, programs, everything. Sadly, when I called them back they admitted that they should have advised me to back everything up first but refused to do anything further. Needless to say I'm fuming

On the train front the 07.20 was delayed 10 mins on Monday morning due to engineering work though the 17.20 ran on time. I didn't travel yesterday so can't comment and this mornings 07.20 was also delayed by 7 mins into P'boro and 10 m ins into Kings Cross. The tossers didn't explain why and didn't appologise either which really gets me annoyed.

The other thing i'l mention quickly is the trolly dolly. This mornings dolly was an oriental fella who oftens works the 07.20. Unfortunately whilst his English is fantastic, his accent and prnunciation isn't. Imagine the worst stereo typical chinees accent, double it and you've got our man. In fact it's so bad you can't understand half of what he says. This is made worse when he makes announcements over the tanoy. SOmebody needs to make those announcements for him because whilst it makes a few passengers lauch, it opens him up to ridicule and doesn't get the desitred messages to the passengers.
