For the first time in nearly a week, I'm back on the rails again. Caught my usual 07.20 this morning which arriverd into Tinsel Town bang on time and KX 3 mins early. Which was nice.
The only note worthy point this morning was the way we pulled into KX. I've never seen a train take so long to get from the last/first tunnel to the platform. Once we'd cleared the tunnel we then seemed to crawl to the platform so slowly that I actually missed the usual abrupt stop and jolt we've become so familair with. Robbed me it did. Robbed me of the chance to watch non regulars stumble as the train comes to a complete stop. I guess the driver must have just passed his test or customers have complained and drivers have been told to give the passengers an easier ride.
I finally received a reply to my enquiry as to where my benefit card and vouchers were after I applied on Sept 21st. To remind you I applied for the benefits on Sept 21st and expected to receive them within 2 weeks. By Oct 12th nothing had arrived so I e-mailed to find out what had happened. On Oct 24th I received my first reply which told me they had passed the query on to the Season tickets Benefits team. On Oct 30 I received my second reply which told me they had passed my query to the Leisure Product Manager. Yesterday I received an e-mail which informed me the that the card and vouchers were dispatched on Oct 10th. It's a good job I wasn't in a hurry.
