Unbelievably

by Fentyke @ 31/01/2008 - 10:00:34

The trains were running on time this morning.

First thing I heard as i opened my eyes this morning was the wind. First thing I thought as I opened my eyes this morning was the trains will be up the swanny then. First thing I did as I opened my eyes was look out of the window to see how bad it was and I didn't like what I saw.

I checked the web and was surprised to see no problems reported but I've seen that before only to find major disruption at the station. Regardless, after a couple of quick games on 'Call of Duty 4' (which I can;t put down at the mo) and a cuppa, I left at the usual time. After a blustery and quite hairy ride to the station (more knobheads on the roads trying to kill me) I could not believe what I saw when I got there. Every service was running on time and there didn't appear to be any restirctions due to the high winds. Now that is unusual to say the least. I wasn;t the only one to be surprised either. Every other passenger I spoke to was equally impressed.

The 07.20 arrived on time (just) and thanks to a bit of slow running around Sandy, we arrived less than 10 mins late (ok, 15 if you don't count the extra time NXEC build into the timetable).

I wonder what it will be like tonight and tomorrow though. Wind is expected to be strong all day and Snow has been forecast for tomorrow.

Not every service Fentyke!! The 06.10, which normally arrives up from London before 6am, did not arrive until after 06.10 this morning leaving 100s of us to face the elements on platform 3. It eventually left 10 minutes late. we did however get an announcement and appology over the PA so may be things are looking up, previuosly we have been left to guess whats happening. take care on that bike mate.....

Cor Blimey sitting on these blinking trains day in day out really is affecting my piles.

Any chance of NXEC supplying cushions or pile cream?

Or even better speeding up the service?

Can anyone get on the NXEC webshite? I keep getting server too busy or 404.... Noticed that trains were delayed into KX earlier. Could be an enjoyable journey home...

8.04 turned up about 25 mins late this morning. I really wished that side gate was open - took me ages to get to main entrance with that wind

Having read some of Razor (Ladyshave) Ronnies's posts, I've long suspected that his rants at the staff have been due some underlying reasons that we don't know about?? The fact that his favorite watering hole in London is the Two Chaimen, located in the heart of Gay Soho has long had me wondering if he was maybe in the closet, wanting to come out? And the sight of all those uniforms and peaked caps was maybe driving him mad with desire?

Anyway, this week it's been confirmed. One of his former mates at computer contractor has emailed me the following videos of Razor in his local pub in Grantham dancing to his favorite track Dancing Queen, and another one of him chillin' out at home with a few of his mates, hosting a spanker party.

I must admit, you look very different from the way I imagined you Ron.

The Two chairmen is off Trafalgar Sqaure and not the one in Soho.

I personally have nothing against shirt lifters/bum bandits/ fudge packers etc etc but dont let me stop you!

Why are you surfing the net for Gay items?

Come out come out theres a diesel about!
