Kids and early morning commuters don't mix well.

by Fentyke @ 01/04/2008 - 09:08:32

I jumped on the late running 07.00 at 07.23 this morning. The departure board in the main building said the 07.20 as on time when in actual fact it was also 20 mins late and it did cause a bit of confusion with a few people opting to wait for it but they soon changed their minds.

With the benefit of hindsight I wish I'd boarded a different coach because there were 2 women in coach C trying to control 6 excited kids, all under 8 years. As a father of a 7 & 10 year old, I've learned how to ignore the racket kids make but the poor sod opposite me obviously hasn't. He huffed and puffed for the full 50 min journey but would he do anything about it? No. I nearly offered him my Ipod but decided against it as I thought he was bound to get so frustrated he would turn round and ask the two ladies to keep their kids under control. But no, he just sat their and endured it like the rest of us.

lol, wished id seen that love when you get little kids coming disturbing all the sleep of those poor commuters, all they care about is there day out on the train, you should have gone over and got them more excited by asking about there day out and "shout if your excited" that would have made there days.

Another day of fucked up trains and cancelleations, not only because of over running engineering works by network fail to complete anything on time, but trains that have problems and delay everything and everyone else, all i can say is that im glad i was not a passenger today.

Its getting to the stage when you wondering when you will get a smooth hassle free week

Being staff I will if needs be tell the bloody brats to put up and shut up or get off at the next stop.
There is a bye-law that covers this area.

I can just imagine you trying to push the kids about you peado.

Try telling me a 20stone ex Royal marine to get off at the next stop and I would happily throw you off after giving you a new arsehole to use.

There wasn't any need to tell them to shut up because they weren't that bad. It was just amusing to watch the bloke opposite me and 1 or 2 others squirm and give the adults one of those disaproving looks every parents had at some point.
