I've got to say I'm extreemly pissed off with NXEC at the moment. I surrendered my season ticket the other day which had 5 months left to run. It cost £5560 so I was expecting 5/12ths back = £2316.67p. Unfortunately NXEC don't opperate a pro rata refund basis. Oh no. What they do is milk every last penny they can from you and charge you for 1 x 6 monthly ticket + 1 x monthly season ticket. So all in all I've just paid the bastards £500 more than I have budgeted for. Fuming I am.
To be fair, that's not just NX, it's how all the train companies give refunds - otherwise people who knew they only needed 6 months could buy and annual and then get it refunded and get a better discount.
Although they've pissed me off as they're raised their advance prices by 11% again as of this week.
